Temperature Control:
- Safe Temperature Limits: Dorchester Heating Solutions ensure that all hot water outlets accessible to residents do not exceed 44 degrees, thereby preventing scalding.
- Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs): TMVs are a fundamental part of any hot water system. We install these on taps and showers to maintain safe water temperatures to prevent scalding and Legionella bacteria from breeding.

- Routine Inspections: We regularly inspect and maintain TMVs are other temperature control devices to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Temperature Monitoring: We regularly monitor water temperatures at outlets to ensure compliance with safe limits.

- Comfortable Temperatures: We ensure that indoor temperatures are maintained at comfortable levels for residents, typically between 18 degrees and 21 degrees.

- Concealed LSTs (low surface temperature): We can install concealed LSTs for special requirements if needed, thereby minimising misuse.
- Exposed LSTs: We can install exposed LSTs for the individuals who are able to regulate the temperature themselves.
